Digital ID Readings - AT Pro

Thought I'd start this thread now that the AT Pro is supposedly shipping. I'm curious as to some of the ID readings. For example, how does a 14k ring register on the number scale? How bout pull tabs? The accuracy or ability to better determine targets using this scale is what is going to sway me to order or not. It's gonna get real interesting in the next couple of days. Maybe we can pin this thread to the top of the forum.

From what I've seen on the videos, it will be very close, if not the same as the numbers on the Omega. Pull tabs are around 57 on it. Rings can show up over a range of numbers, which are dictated by both size and what the gold is alloyed with. A zinc penny will be around 77. Larger silver coins will be around 94. As I'm not a resident of the US, I can't tell you what US coins will come in at. If you want an idea, if you go over to the Teknetics forum, you might get a fairly good idea what the AT Pro will ID targets.
Mick Evans.

I have an Omega, but remember that the AT-Pro is also available as an international model which will have a wider ID for mid range targets, such as pull tabs...

I found an AT Pro air test video. Rings come in about 64. Pulltabs were ringing up between 56 and 62. I guess that's about the same for all 99 point digital ID meters.
