" Digital Head Phone Interference"

This may be a question for the V3-i experts, recently I purchased the Auvio wireless" digital stereo" head phones and tried them Wed. The V seemed to sound off on high +VDI with the 3 freq. bar graph in the red or high +VDI in the green with a sliver of red to the right. This is something I don't recall seeing often and seemed to appear very often through out my hunt. My question is, do the wireless head phones interfere with the V and give me whacked signals?

Head Phone Spec's:
*Transmit = 2.4.GHz
*Frequency Response = 80- 20,000 Hz
*Impedance = 32 ohms
*Signal to Noise Ratio = 70db

These head phones are awesome as far as comfort, light weight, volumn control, on/ off switch for digging and 0 delay. But if they do interfere, I will  as I lost the receipt.

Thank you for looking...

I have the Auvio wireless ear buds and do not get any interference on my E-Trac.Sound and volume is great but I have noticed a slight delay on the signals.Did you notice a slight delay with the head phones?

No delays at all but when I introduced these to my father in law and his e-trac, we noticed a static sound at the end of his target sound. I get no static or delay but Wed. hunt left me digging targets only 2-3" deep and father in law pulling barber, V nickle, IH and 2 wheats in areas I've visited.:veryangry: You can only imagine what his response was..

I have them for my v3i and have noticed no delay. Pinpointing or targeting seems just fine.
I would test them then unplug them and test in the same spot to see for sure.

Thank you CH2,

Haven't had time lately to hunt but that was my next step. I appreciate the response. I wasn't sure if it was a no-no to use alternative wireless gear for this particular reason. I love these head phones and will test this weekend. Thanks again CH2.

Hey Moose,

I use my Macally wireless headphones. There are 2.4ghz also. . . They do not or do I hear any interference through them. I use them in all my Whites and G******'s detectors without a hitch.

When I go detecting, I have my V3 running with all 3 freq., cell phone running at 900 mhz and the Macally's running at 2.4 ghz without any problems. I have the original wireless headphones that came with the V3 but, they're too hot and you sweat alot so I don't use them in the summer. I will save them for the fall and winter coming up.

Hope this helps,

TC-NM

Thanks TC,

this does please me very much. I love these headphones as they are light and mold tight around the ears without getting hot. I used them this past weekend and had no issues with them. I did notice I had RX set rather high for this particular park with boost on. I swore I checked this the first day I tried the headphones.

Thanks again TC,

Moose..HH
