hay walt! good ideal ! But i found it a lot simpler to use a scanner, you can get a printer top scanner for about 60$ that way the picture goes right to tour PC, an you don't have
to down load the picture, also a lot easier to cut the resolutions back to what you can up load, the pic quailty is jus as good too
 
Yeah, that's how I did mine that I posted, but some people don't have scanners. Plus the scanner, to me gives a clearer pic, except maybe on silver. Then if it's not a flat piece, some parts of the pic may be blur. The focus point on the scanner is the point nearest the glass.
