Digisearch meter for GT

Tony

Member
Has this meter been revised from 6 months ago to address the issues with being knocked out of calibration beacuse of the loose shaft/pot ??

Thanks,
Tony.

ever since I mounted mine atop the control box for my Sun Ray S-1 probe it is no longer an issue. I have the SR probe box and the Digisearch meter mounted on one of the mounts that David @ Dixie MDs sells. It moves them a little off to the side so you can see them better. The reason the meter stay's set now is because the in/out cables that are now all around it protect it from being accidentally bumped. Really, it is now not a problem for me even after several days of use and being in the backseat of my truck.

HTH and HH,

Julien

Julien...thanks for the update on the meter !

Thanks Bill...hopefully all will be okay but an o-ring might be a good backup if necessary.

Before I had the probe I wrapped a postal rubber band, doubled, around the lower front of the Digisearch, up around the sides, and then looped around the knob. It works well but the rubber band will break every couple of weeks. It's not a problen though because those rubber bands are everywhere.
