Digging up lots of iron

I know ABSOLUTELY nothing about the Minelabs machines. So my question to owners of these machines is THIS; Do you dig up a lot of iron objects, that sound like GOOD targets?? Or do iron targets NEVER or rarely appear in your headsets, depending on the amount of discrimination your using??

To answer your question im new to the Etrac but my coin finds have
doubled!!!
They have done a great job with coin Id 11-46 clad quarter and so on.
They are very easy to use and stock setting for coins is great to start of with
I adjust sensitivity once in awhile I found four silvers today! A 44 merc 1884 seated dime
1950 washington a 1960 rosie all in an hours time at a field i just hit this week
Got 15 silvers so far there!!
I think you will be very happy if you decided to get one I know I am!

You can avoid a lpt of Iron falses by lowering your Sensitivity. I almost never run in Auto +3 anymore. This not only cuts out most of the Iron squeaks, it also makes your good hits hit harder. The other thing you can do is turn Off Deep ON. Turning off Deep on will not hurt your depth any at all. Deep On only amplifies deep faint hits. (Like Iron Squeaks) The key is to listen to your Threshold. If you are not getting a good steady Threshold back off on Sensitivity. You should be able to hear Iron nulls as you sweep across them, then get your Threshold right back.
