Digging trash and still smiling

I have owned my EX70 for 3 months and spend most of my detecting time on the local beaches. Living in Tasmania which has a population under 500,000 means we simply do not get large numbers of people on the beaches. The chance therefore of finding valuable items are reduced. However thanks to this forum and the advice I have gleaned from it I am finding all sorts of trash, small bits of aluminium, keys and bottle tops at impressive depths right on the waterline.
Since reading all the helpful posts on the forum I have been able to tune my detector to hunt with increased sensitivity and am happy in the knowledge that my chances of recovering a valuable target have been increased.
I am amazed and encouraged to see the vast array of valuable finds that some of the forum members have displayed.
I wish you all a merry Christmas

David from Tasmania

if i were living in Tasmania i"d be hunting all the old sites i"v heard that a few holey dollars & dumps have been found down there & that old Vic coins aren't to hard to find.

Don't give up the good stuff will evantually pop up..

the more common ones go for $50,000 the Sky's the limit for the rear ones the dumps start at $5,000 & go up so there well worth the effort to find.

Best of luck with your treasure hunting!!
Cheers!
