Digging Tools

wrong way ron

New member
What's the best shovel for coins I have the Lesche digging tool, But I,m looking for a strong shovel like the Lesche tool something with a small blade good for cutting plugs out of the ground and still be able to get coins, rings, and any thing else of value. Any idea's guys????

Plug cutters sure cut a nice round hole, but we don't endorse a 360 degree plug cut especially during dry conditions. A three sided hinged plug gives grass a much better chance to stay green with at least keeping some roots intact.

About the shovels, Lesche/Predator make some good strong ones.

If you use a plug type tool, you'll have dead grass in 3 days! Please use the horseshoe method and keep the roots in tacked on the upper side. Basically like Larry said. HH to you all, Nancy

Your Lasche digger should work well in almost all conditions. It's a great tool.
Use a horseshoe cut or an oversize " V " cut and leave as much roots conected as possible.

I use this one with great results make's 3 sided plugs real easy and cut's very clean, when I leave you never knew I was there http://www.predatortools.com/item_details.asp?ID=55 Also it works great for around the house gardening to....... I think the link is OK as they are Forum sponsors
