im always trying to find a better way to dig out the coins , especialy in grass like in parks whith as little damige to the grass as possible. one tool that works very well is a 6" knife to make a slit then i use a 9" reg sqrewdriver whith a slight bend to it at 3" it seems to really poke in good and pry up the dirt then i just found out that a tongs for grilling is great at takeing out the lose dirt and for filling i use a fork , it is like a rake and gets most of the dirt back in the hole the coin popper is good to but its not as easy as the sqrewdriver to get in the ground but the tongs are a real time saver i was using a spoon any one els have any ideas im always looking for better tools i have not arived yet ,, gunnar rasmussen bradford minnesota
