Digging Tool

Does anyone use or know anything about the japanese digging tool called a "Hori-Hori'? It looks like a great tool for digging and cutting roots and is reasonably priced.

I have one that looks like that knife. I bought it here. http://www.amleo.com/index/item.cgi?cmd=view&Words=4750

I also have a Lesche knife. I like the way the Lesche has an off set blade and large guard. But the Am Leonard knife is a close second. I think the blade on the Leonard knife is a little stronger. This knife is half price of the Lesche too.

Thanks for the reply khouse. The Leonard knife looks to be as good or better than the "Hori-Hori" knife and is cheaper. I think I will purchase one of these.

The Am Leonard knife has a lifetime warranty too. I had ground on the knife and had the blade a bit thin by the handle. Well it broke. I was really prying on it though. I call AM Leonard and they sent me a new one no questions asked. They didn't even want the old one back. I knew better than take the grinder to it again.
