Hello Everyone, I am looking to buy a new digging tool. I am hoping some of you folks could chime in with what your using. Thanks for your time. Joe

I use a screw driver mos tthe time for shallow targets which is mostly coins. I have a heavy duty digging tool I carry also. Looks like a garden hand spade but a little longer and sturdier.

Within a half inch or so, a brass probe or one of my home made concoctions.
A little deeper - I use the Lesche digging trowel - built tough and fits nice in the leather detecting pouch.>>>see pic<<<
Digging a little deeper - the Wilcox trowels which I have from about a foot for the smallest one to about 18 inches for the longest one.
Dig a little deeper yet - I have a variety of the Predator shovels, about 5 different models which are very tough.

I use a Sabre Tooth Digging Trowel. You can find them for $9.95. Looks like the saw tooth pro digging tool.
