Digging tool pics

Here's a tool I use sometimes. It is short, like this, and handy in tight places.

It has the sharp prongs on one side and the hoe like other side. And it extends out to a good length with just a twist of the handle. I use it for dump digging but others use it for detecting digging. My friend will use it tomorrow when we go out along the RR lines as he has trouble getting down & back up. Steve in so az

Just as I'm always looking for tips on detecting ( thanks for all of them you have sent me over the years. Great for helping me through the winter ) I also wouldnt mind seeing some more of your equipment you use. Who knows maybe you have something I cant live without, he he

the rake side probably work great. Thinking of those tobaggan and sledding hills since winter doesn't seem to be over yet (we got about 4 inches of snow overnight).

Thanks for showing the item. Will have to check into that one to add to my tool bag of detecting accessories.

...it would be good for digging through pea gravel and mulch in playgrounds. I wonder of there were more tines closer together if it would be useful in sand, like at the beach.
