Digging targets in nice grass

bummer, should work now i just made it public thanks for leting me know

We're you detecting near bee hives? I used to work for a bee keeper and I wore similiar headgear. Sorry if you explained on the video, (volume down at work)

Its a bug net , the mosquitoes are horible up hear and the horse flys i have to wear long sleevs gloves and a bug net or i cant be outside and i dont like to drech myself whith bug spray cant wait until it gets cold again

That's cool but you still can't beat a good long icepick. Feel the coin with icepick, shove it in beside the coin, push it back and forth making a slit, stick your finger in the slit and pull the coin out. Any glass in the hole will be felt by the icepick, so you know it's there. In lawns, this is ALL I carry. Park officials don't get upset when they see my "digger".
P.S. I've never gotten a cut finger using this method. BUT YOU MIGHT! Be advised! :stretcher:

Buy a flea market screwdriver, nice bright handle a plus if you drop..File down the sides...Mark the handle so you know when its flat and basically use the same method..Wider surface of screwdriver tip lets you get under coin and flip out..Just as easy to find the coin as filed down tip is easy to enter ground...

Recently saw a key date SLQ easily worth around $200 transforned into a $30 coin by popping. It was shallow and the digger thought it was trash or a clad quarter. I guess if you're out digging clad a new park, ice picks and screwdrivers are handy, but the places I hunt, I think I'll stick to a more careful extraction.

I only dig like that when i am in sensitive areas but i still am very car full , when it does not matter i dig huge holes

About the bugs.....! A common product "the little woman" uses in the laundry room to make make your clothes nice and is "Bounce". She tosses a sheet into the dryer with your clothes. Go steal one next time you go detecting where the bugs are. Stick it into your shirt pocket when you start detecting, that may be all you have to do. If the little buggers get aggressive, take it out and rub it all over your face, arms and everything exposed to the bugs. It's bug stealth..:clapping: They don't know where you went.
Might be a good idea to test on your skin in advance. You might be allergic to it. Doubtful but don't gamble. Try this, what do you have to loose? Works just great for me.
