Digging more Memorials?

A

Guest
Are you guys digging more memorial cents with the Explorer than with your old detector?
I used an XLT until I switched to the Explorer.
No doubt the Explorer is a superior machine and I have lots of good finds with it so far to prove it but I seem to dig a lot of Memorial cents that I didn't used to dig.
Do new pennies (copper) sometimes fool you guys too?
They sometimes sound close to a silver target especially when deep.
Any tips on how to tell them from silver?
Thanks.
Tony in Ohio.

Theres no doubt it is superior to any other machine for Coinshooting.
Granted in Iron Mask or Smartfind Wheaties and Memorials will fall almost the same but you can usually tell by the depth if its going to be a new penny.
In finding Silver its in a class by its own.
I have already found more Silver this year then in 88 & 89 combined when I was using my XLT.
And I know without a doubt none of my prior machines would have picked this baby up at around 10".
