Digging in the mud!:veryangry:

That's for sure what it would be if one was to venture afield right now. In the last 24 hours or so we have had all of 7" of rain. I think its going to be our wettest June ever. And by a pretty good amount. But, will see what tomorrow brings. Someone get out there and find a good one. That 76CC Seated dime is a good start. HH jim tn

The guy down street said his rain gauge was 7 inches. We got lots of good soaking rain:thumbup:. Mud or no mud, I'm jumping in, because it won't take long before the Summer heat will make the ground like concrete once again. If we had gotten much more rain the coins would have floated to the top of ground and we could have raked bucket fulls of them up.

Coins floating to the top is just what I figured. Couldn't stand it, so hit two chip lots and ventured out into the grass and popped several that had floated to the top of the ground. From the chips and floaters, actually recovered $4.37. Most with my screw driver. Nothing is getting replenished right now. Yeah, gotta dig these next few days. HH jim tn

LOL

No telling what might come a bubbling up out of the ground! Nice screwdriver work!:clapping: I was watching that radar and thinking of you boys when it went through...the Pro loves wet work!
Mud

It's bone dry here in south, ga. The lime sink next to my house was full to the drive way, but is down quite a bit, maybe a third of it's size.
I like detecting in the rain. HH.

I live in tacoma washington land of the rain thats why I got a AT-Pro just put on your gum boots and your good dont forget the the life vest lol

Yup, pretty much been raining for about the last three weeks here, on and off. People can't even mow their lawns. I kind of like it for the extra detector depth, but the mud gets on everything for sure.

Man, that's a lotta water! Has anybody checked to see if Mud Island is still there? Moist is good, but the muck can get on my nerves after a while, heh. We're as dry as a bone here, normal for June, though it's been in the 90s since Memorial Day, which is not normal. I chug water all day, but nothing comes out! :look:

That's a lot of rain Jim. Your ground must be getting saturated. Should make for easy digging, but great areas for mosquitoes to populate the area.

We need a good slow downpour but it doesn't look like anything but brief showers and lightning storms.

I checked out an old park yesterday and there were ducks swimming in it.
