DIGGING IFFY SIGNALS

going back over some spots can pay off. this one was 7in. down on its side played around a little and went 4 it!!
HOW MANY DO WE MISS i guess i realy dont want to know.??

Cool find! I had a comment about iffy signals. On the beach I've been ignoring the bottle top signals: dots forming all over the screen in target trace/pinpoint. 90 some % of the time these are bottle tops. But I've also seen this when there is a coin drop, nickel, quarters, dimes, all in the same area (11" coil, beach mode). ...and what does the popping sound mean?

Here's my last beach trip findings. Still waiting for that hair raising find.

HI STOGGER
not sure what poping sound your talking about. you may try another TARGET SEP. MODE and see what happens.+ dont over power
there may be to many things going on it the same time with the computer. saltwater mode on and leave target trace off you will still see
a target there. are you in auto+ and what are your no#?? you may want to bury a coin and play with your settings were you are, but i think
what you are hearing is the computer pros. over-loading in signals -settings -power etc. rember a lot is going on in the computer circuits
next trip out try not to put out to much power and make some changes in your settings this may help just use enough power to
get the job done. some of us like to run to much power and this could be the problem. wen i run i use just enough sence to get the job done
and i find lots of things.if in auto + and you see 23-24-16-17 you may stay there and see if your hitting deep or try manual 22-24 and see
if the popping stops but it allmost sounds like to many things going on circuity

hope this helps BOB

Congratulations! Nice find.

My iffy signals are usually rusty/bent nails but I usually know that they are. But the one time I dont dig it would be a coin.

WELL, WEN YOU CAN TELL
that its a rusty piece of junk this is good. but sometimes you will get lucky and find something good. i save my iffy signals
4-last. in the old park were i do most of my testing there is many signals there from 1900 and up many years of stuff in the ground. so i never
run out of signals some good and some bad!!

Good point Stever0812! In the areas that i hunt, i get a lot of iffy signals that 99% of the time, turned out to be can slaw and other sorts of trash, so at 71, i really need to conserve my energy and only dig signals in the 12-43+ range which yields a fair share of clad dimes and quarters and if i'm lucky, an occasional silver.

YES BOYS
i am almost out of good signals in this park but i still find some goodys here and there. we all like them 12-44-45-47-etc.
and if we could we all would dig them good ones but comes the day we start on pull-tab looking 4 gold rings. i also fully
understand the age thing and i am only 10 years behind you.

JUST REMBER OLD TIMER ITS NOT OVER TILL THE FAT LADY SINGS!!!!!!!
