Hello Lowboy.I was wondering just how you are dating that site?Is it because of a 1834 coin you found there?If so your way off.I have found coins dating all the way into the 1700's in camps.......does that mean they were camps of that era,absolutely not!!!It was not uncommon at all for "Old",money to be brought when the "49 ers",came,just as it is not uncommon to have coins pop up today in change that are 30 -40 years old.I would stick to the factual history found with a little research to ACTUALLY date the site.You make some really nice finds,no reason to inflate the scenario.
