Digging an aussie 20c coin

Hi Gary
Im looking to buy a probe and that one seem to do the job (is it the pistol probe?). Were you able to buy that from a retailer in Australia or did you buy direct from the states? What depth are you able to get on standard size coins?
Thanks Brad

Brad.
You can only buy the Uniprobe pinpointers (Pistol Probe) from the States. I bought a Pocket Uniprobe from David of Dixie Detectors. He's a forum sponsor and a great guy to to business with. I had a minor hiccup with my unit and found that his back up was first class. You can't ask more than that.

Hi brad
The Pistol Probe is an awsome pipointer.I got mine from Kellyco. Paid for it with PayPal. Cost us au$245.00 converted from $168.00us approximately off the top of my head and au$75.00 postage . Took a week to get here via America Post USPD. Kellyco were great, no problems. Took a week to get here, no customs problems. many people would be saying HOW MUCH!!!!!!!!!. But believe me, it has cut down my search time by half, and the depth is UNBELEIVABLE!!!!!!!. I pinpoint before i dig, and dont make a mess at all. I get easily 4-6 inches on a $2.00 coin.
Check out my post The easiest find ever!

Thanks for the advise! Im looking for a probe that I can use in parks and this looks like the one to go for. I think some of the upcoming government bonus could be heading overseas!
Thanks
