As the title suggests digging dirt gold is easy NOT :poke:

3.85 g's 18 K Cibola and CSC disc line above iron, not doing so well today and was only popping stuff that sounded really good and just caught a glimpse of it and knew what it was right away fell on my back like I just won the US open tennis more out of relief than excitement :sadwalk:

its a tough gig park gold hunting but hey what's a poor boy to do :unsure:

Awesome find! I got half a 5 gallon bucket or more of trash like that, plus a bunch in my truck... It's worth it!!! Congrats

How deep was it?
 
yeah wish I had some scales to weight the junk its probably 7 or 8 pounds :biggrin: that's a lot of crapola !!

I had walked over it a few times with other set ups and either not heard it or didn't dig it, I think the 1st one.

was not deep just over an inch.

sure is fun isn't it digging for park shinny stuff have to have a screw lose I recon but when that colour flashes it is a sense of achievement I think :biggrin:

That certainly is a quality find,its sites that have the trash that usually produce some decent finds as well,its all down to the effort/reward ratio and using the right equipment for the job.

that's my theory if I disc low and dig hard and yeah sometimes I get discouraged with tab after tab, slaw etc.. but there always seems to be something nice at the end of it.

this one off grass volleyball courts, seems to be where they are coming out on sports fields.

so still plenty more junk in the ground so must be some more hiding in there somewhere (I hope) :unsure:

so reset and start a new pile of junk :pulltab:

Congratulations on a very nice looking ring. I have found 14k, but not an 18k. I hope you find more soon. That is a massive pile of trash. I would see if you can get any money for all of that aluminum you pulled out of the ground. Nice to see another Tesoro snatching up some gold. Keep swinging and smiling. HH

went out today 3 hrs of tabs and a start of a new junk pile :sleepy:

I give the junk to my friend he is building a gold pattern on a etrac :poke:

he would have missed that one yesterday come in with tabs.

Thats a Real nice find. Amzing how a shiney gold ring can bring the kid out of anyone when you find it. LOL I swear every time I find a ring in my sand scoop it's like I turn into a lepracan. LOL

I haven't been out for a week and was just thinking my new pile of tabs might have lost its mojo for the next gold ring :unsure: hope I wrong :bouncy: time will tell ??
