Dig them Zinc Pennies!

This last weekend I got a few good rings and the best was a nice 16.2 gram 18K gold band (one big ring) and its VDI was right there around the zinc penny or a bottle cap VDI's of 50's. Also the predominant frequency was 7.5 the red color if you're running stock colors. Dig the pennies and bottle caps that polar plots (if you have the V3i) and shows three nice lines.

That is prettiest $500 bill I have ever seen. Great find.....

Very nice indeed. Rob

That looks like a coin ring to the left of the gold ring, another nice find.

Now that is something that doesn't come out of the ground often! Big congratulations on your nice finds!

Your right, it still has the 1960, Quarter Dollar and United States of America on the inside. Its cool how they can do that to a Quarter, lets you know for sure it

Really Really cool.

Great huge gold ring
and that coin ring is cool. How do they do that. I have never seen that before.

Is that diamond real ??

Thats what I like about this site. Interesting finds. Congrats big time, you're living the dream, and finding the fun stuff!

Got some new candidate sites myself this weekend.. really focusing on the possible rings, and i dig all the zincolns in hopes of these kinds of finds.

DANNNG!! :yikes:You found all those rings in one weekend?
JEEEEZ!!!:clapping: Thank you for proving my point. I keep telling all the guys "dig those zinc cause it could be a big gold ring!!!!!"

Your post has me digging the Zincolns 100% again. Went out to a great little school a buddy and I just found and worked our tails off! Found an absolutely HUGE sterling ladies ring w/2 carats of..........CZs! Pulled it out and thought "This has to be the ugliest 1980's "thing" I've ever seen but....wife loved it and said it was back in style? (What do I know?) Anyways...every zincoln I dug, thought of that NICE 18k monster of yours! Great post!

My V3 has got me regularly digging the 50's again - plucked a men's gold ring at a solid 50 one the way back to the car. I have to say I only stopped to dig it because of the V3's display. It was worth feeding the moquitos a few extra minutes for that one. Congrats on those finds!!

There is no magic bullet but the V3/V3i in my book gives you an edge and most of the time I can tell if it
