Dig a different dig yesterday... :goodnight:

I woke up early & caught a low tide & went diggin' around in the water for some famous native Rhode Island Quahogs. That's our indian name for what others may call "hard shell clams". Supposedly Rhode Island is the perfect setting for these to thrive, & they make the best seafood appetizers. I make a mean "clams casino" from them, which is what I did yesterday for my family. Unfortunately they are getting seemingly harder to find now as hot spots get "hunted out" so to speak. I had lots a "competition" all around me, & it was hard digging. So, I guess it's alot like a treasure hunt lookin for 'em & maybe why I like to do it every Summer....
