Different Versions of MXT

Been looking at used MXT's on ebay and craigslist and see that there is a MXT300, MXT E Tracker, MXT and MXT Pro.

I know the difference between the MXT and MXT Pro but I have not been able to find what the difference is between the 300 and E Tracker when compared with a current MXT.

Is the 300 and E Tracker series just older MXT's and if so what is the main difference in the electronics.
Thanks for any clarification on this. I want to pick up an MXT after new years and wondering what I would miss in getting an older MXT instead of a current MXT.

Thanks

I have never heard the term E Tracker, other than the Minelab E-Trac. The MXT, M6, MXT Pro and DFX are in a class of detectors called E Series.......... The MXT 300 is an MXT with the 300 mm (12") coil.

Can't say for sure, but I think the MXT is just an abbreviated version of the MXT E Tracker Series.

This time of year they are very busy, everyone is sending there detectors in to get them checked. Try and give them a little more time to get to you, i know if i had sent mine in i would be on my head till i heard something,They may be a 100 or more in front of you thinking the same thing. Try and hold on. Just wait till you get it back and know it is like new again, that will give you peace of mine. Good Luck Dean

Thanks for the responses, looks like a used MXT will be a belated Christmas gift to myself.
