different vaquero coils...questions?

gonna try hunting that old area of town again with my new vaquero...
wouldn't want to use widescan 3x18 as there is a lot of trash?use stock coil or 8 inch or 5 inch coil?
plan on initially cherrypicking for silver...
tired of finding old rusted castiron with my antique garrett treasuremaster 2.
any help?

I think the words "cherrypick" and 5" coil go hand in hand. Def your best choice for the conditions you are discribing. That little coil is a blast to use...anywhere! Good Luck
 
The 5.75 H.O.T. coil will be the next for my Vaquero. It's has to be a killer!!!
