jcooking

Well general season for big game opened last week here in Montana. I was very blessed and was able to harvest this buck about ten minutes into the season. Meat in the freezer, and it is the original organic meat, raised in the wild! Below is my little girl, can't wait till she can dig holes for me, lolol.

Nice 10 pointer Jon.

And I got to try some of the double pepper jerky he made from it....it's the best jerky I've ever had! Way to go jcooking!

Man I sure miss Montana. I used to live in Helena. Moved to Missouri 13 years ago. May have to move back once I retire......Nice deer by the way.

Excellent hunt Jon. Looks like it's a nice size and good eats too. Your daughter is a cutie. Thanks for the picture and happy eating! Nancy

Thanks all for the compliments on my deer and lil dear! Congrats on the elk, C! I haven't got one in a few years but remember how great they are on the plate! Hopefully things thaw out a bit for one more MD hunt as well.

That's a great buck Jon, Congrats. I have only been out once and didn't see a thing, but I've got some time.
