Different angle of attack lands a walker

A friend of mine had permission to hunt a residential house so he hit it hard for two days with his whites xlt. Asked him if I could go over it real quick and he said no problem. Hit the front yard slow and meticulous in one direction and pulled a few wheats. The place gave me that gut feeling that something was there so I decided to hit it again slowly at a 90* angle. Got a solid quarter signal next to some trash and out pops this 1943 Walker half at only 2 inches. WooHoo! Speaking of Walkers, if you haven't started watching the AMC series walking dead you should rent the first season and check it out. Best TV series EVER...

Sweet finds Rusty, congrats!! Looks like you are taking to the E-trac really well:clapping:

I got an At-Pro on first shipment in 11/2010 and ran that machine for at least 500 hours the first 14 months that I owned it. There was a lot of hype of how great they were and I and others were trying to compare it to the etrac. After purchasing the etrac I can tell you that I have found more old silver coins in 2 months with the etrac than I did in 14 months with the AT Pro. The AT Pro is an outstanding all around machine, but for old coins it doesn't touch etrac.

Nice looking Walker, congrats and your gut feeling and technique paid off.

Good idea to change the angle of your hunt. It's just like changing the angle when trying to confirm a signal. I thought the Walking Dead series just started this year and only a few episodes have been on?? Anyway, I watched 3 shows tonight on on-demand and thought it was awesome. Going to watch it from now on.

Last season of Walking Dead went from a zombie kill-o-rama to a soap opera....many people (including myself) stopped watching and the producers had a lot of pressure to include more zombie killing this season (like the first season started out). Looks like this season might be good. Sorry to hijack your thread.

thanks for the compliments everyone =)

@e-trac-virginia It started last year so you should probably rent the first season on dvd and watch it first. The episode last night was season 2 #11.

@usafav The reason there was less zombie slaying is because AMC cut the budjet segnificantly. The director Frank Baramont threw a huge fit because he needed the budget to produce the special effects for all the zombie killing and you know what they did? They fired him! What a bunch of idiots. He made that show HUGE and they cut his budget and then fired him when he compalined... The show suffered a little but is still an awesome show and I think they are realizing their mistake.
