difference in Nokta and Makro pointers vibration

I recently had sporadic issues with my 3 year old Makro pointer. I decided to get a backup in case it checks out on me. In comes a brand new Nokta pointer. I could have bought another Makro but liked the orange colors of the Nokta which makes it more visible when dropped. I was surprised to notice that the vibration on the Nokta is weaker (feels weaker) compared to the Makro. There is a definite difference in vibration intensity on the 2 detectors especially as the target gets really close. I can literally hear the vibration making a very perceptible sound on the Makro but less on the Nokta. I thought they would have the exact same response. Anybody have both and noticed this ? The sound volume is louder on the Nokta than the Makro though. The speaker on my Makro has been through hell so that could explain it. :)

And yes, both pointers are set at maximum sensitivity.
