Difference in depth?

I had a X50 and now have a X70. Depth seems about the same; probably X30 about the same also. You really need a machine that will Ground Balance. The X30 has a fixed Ground Balance which will not be correct in many soil conditions. The X30 will probably have less depth in some soil conditions than others. My soil is not very good here and GB on the X50 could only be achieved at the very end of the range. GB with the X70 is no problem.

Sorry to just step in like this but I used the 70 all summer this year and paired with the 10" 7.5 kHz DD coil I managed colonial coppers at 14". I hunt side by side with an Explorer user and the DD coil for the X70-X50 Makes the machine a hot little coin machine.
