Difference between the 1500 and 2500

Stupid question but what are the differences between the 1500 and the 2500 ? I know that the 2500 can accommodate the twin coils for deeper hunting but for everyday hunting is there any real benefits to go to the 2500.

2500 does have the allmetal mode that ID's and as deep as any but noisy.....Also talks to the operator if you wish....But is heavier and more boxy than the 1500...1500 is a fine unit and would be my pick as value for the bucks....

So far it seems the answer is NO!! JMO, it's a superfluous machine. Gets down to whether you want to pay for the extra bells and whistles. Yer not buying the machine for anyone else i just assumed. So it's what you think you want that counts.

Have you read about it yet on Garretts website? all answers are there...but heres one...the ALL METAL MODE! Is the difference!

All Metal is the basic difference plus a couple of bells and whistles. If you're a coinshooter the 1500 is one of the best as it was designed for that.
