Difference between "submersible" and "waterproof"?

Scanning the Coiltek site, I'm having difficulty determing the difference between the "submersible" and "waterproof" and what the limitations of each may be. It's probably right in front of my eyes and I may have missed it, but does anyone have a good reference or definition? I want to make sure I don't drown my new Digger.

There is no difference between waterproof and submersible with Xterra coils.
The distinction is between water resistant and waterproof. Water resistant coils will withstand wet grass, occasional wave splashes, or even hosing off (gently), whereas waterproof coils can be submerged to a depth of up to one meter for extended periods.

Don't dunk it !
With the newer Digger coils it's OK. They are waterproof. Just the first 342 were only water resistant.
