Difference between CZ-5 and CZ3D? :fisher:

Could someone fully explain the difference between these two machines? From what I understood originally, the 3d was a copy from the "new" Fisher company of the earlier CZ5 with an enhanced mode. Is this pretty much it? Does the enhanced mode really help anything? My CZ5 will punch out a coin at 12 inches. Am I missing anything that the CZ3D could be picking up?

Thanks,
Megadivers

First and foremost refer to my post if you scroll down to CZ3D in laymans terms which should help you out...

Second it was originally made by the old Fisher and is continuing to be made by the new Fisher.

Third depending on you hunting areas you could be missing old nickles such as Buffalo, V, and shield as they may come in foil on your CZ5. Also with your CZ5 in Zinc you could be missing a lot of old coins which I have mentioned but have to add real old indian head pennies which would come in square tab and a large 10kt gold ring which I omitted from my original post.

CZ3D is basically the same machine rel depth with new meter parameters where you basically dig all high tones when in old old areas to catch all the old coins along with junk(basically dig more to find more) and a flip of the toggle to the left and you have basically a CZ5 so in actuallity its two units in one with the flip of a toggle. Left for new areas, right for old areas. Could you find the same items with a CZ5 in old areas I would think so but you would have to dig foil and square tab along with nickle, Zinc and the last facet coins all and in doing so so would also dig a whole lot of junk as Nasa Tom's principles have basically been incorporated in the CZ3D to catch all the old coins with meter changes digging all high tones and cutting down the junk dug..

The cz3d will find targets deep as the cz5 will find,Just learn how the 3d works in both modes and you will have it wipped. The 3d is one of the best detectors on the market today and also ranking top of the cz's.

You're as bad as I am, maybe worse. I want one of every detector. I like detectors as much as I do detecting.

We still need to go hunting. Will you be available anytime this week?

Call me, I am not sure if I still have your number. I can go most any afternoon this week.
