I had to drive my wife to the state capitol for a workshop today so thought I'd take my detector along. What a great move that was as I hit a bunch of parks and got about 300 coins, 3 gold items, a silver ring and all kinds of lesser jewelery. Her 4 hour workshop was just right as I could't dig any more - made her drive home :).

The chain is stamped 14 K and is 24 inches long. When I dug it I saw something stamped and thought - neat a silver necklace.
The ring on the left is silver, the right one on the bottom with red stone is stamped 14 K, the other one has a horseshoe and horse head and is stamped 10 K. What a day - think I'd better plan a return trip soon ! Steve in so az

Man, I cannot believe how much stuff you find! That is an incredible amount of targets to dig! If I have the math right, you're digging a target every 30 seconds :) I'm either totally inept at MD'ing or people here just don't lose that much stuff :) I worked a soccer field last weekend, dug a ton of junk , but came up with only a few clad.

What the heck, I'm going to give it a shot again tomorrow if the ground isn't frozen! As soon as it warms up a bit, me and my friend Bob are gonna hit that 1850's house. Hopefully, we'll be the first to hunt it :)

Boy, I can't wait for the hot weather and the beach season :)

enough to detect I keep my in the van also.
Never know when driving along you may come across a good site or even street construction
