you get the M6 and then have time to use it, get a good feel for it, and compare its performance afield against both the MXT and XL Pro. I am sure we all want to hear some reports, BOTH GOOD AND BAD, that can relate how it fairs against two already proven models.

I'm sure it woun't be perfect, I just hope it's not a real lemon. I mean, for a suggested retail only $100 less than the MXT and $150 more than the unexciting Prizm V, it will be interesting to see how it will really perform. I don't hesitiate putting any new model in my arsenal, as long as it works and does something I can pout to good use for what I do and where I hunt.

Let us know when they get there and how things go!

Hello Richard,

i know how it is to wait for a new toy. To sad you couldn't play with it at the weekend. If you get it please answer some questions for me.

1. Can you hear a treshold when you turn sensitivity up ?

Because if you can hear one i think it will be possible to do prospecting and it can be helpful on relics.

2. Do you think campared to the MXT the M6 lost depth because of the filtering to make it quiter ?

3. Can you see advantages over the MXT like depth, better ID....?

Thanks,
Andy

a lot of us want to know (How Good) . I like the fact it will use the MXT DFX coils and they are already on the market. HH Bill
