Did you have your wheaties today? I got mine and a whole lot more! :) ......

Hunted an 1800's farm house today for about 3 hours. I only searched a small area and got plenty to show for it! The owner showed me pics of the house from many years ago, the guy across the road came over and said you can hunt my place, and gave me some info that any treasure hunter would like to have! :) He is close to 90 years old. That site will see several return trips! Totals: 13 wheaties 55D, 51D, 52D, 50S, 52D, 57D, 53D, 52D, 56D, 40S, 41, 48S, 19S. I also got two silver dimes, 1960D Rosie, and a
1901 Barber! YEEE HAAA!!!! I got two pendants, one heart, and one earth. A neat statue also, with a missing head. I might try to locate it later. Kinda neat that all but one wheat had mint marks, and 4 were S's. I'll be back! :)

Wow! What a great outing, Mike! Sounds like you need to take a tent and spend a weekend there! I can't wait to see your TOTAL finds from that place!

after hunting about 15 min. the lady who owns it put me to work. She is a dog breeder, and has tons of pictures, and has a great computer, and hasn't a clue about seting up folders. I went in and set up folders on each of her dogs, installed a re- size program, and helped her organize and transfer pics. That took up all my hunting time, but there will be another day. In the short time that I hunted, I did find a 1934 wheatie, 1937 merc.,a clad quarter, and 5 memorials. Needless to say, I'll be back.

years ago I entered a wheaties contest and won a T-Shirt with the verse I wrote......Each morning I eat my wheaties, before metal-detecting for my coinies. I think that's what I wrote, as it has been a long time and I wore the shirt to the club meetings and detecting!

God Bless!
