Did you ever try 'painting with light'?

What you do is leave the shutter open in the dark then use a flash light or in this case a laser pointer and 'paint' or illuminate everything you want to light up then close the shutter. I've seen people have some nice shots outdoors doing this with a powerful flash light.

Nice idea for some outstanding artwork. Great shot. Never tried this. Have to check how long the shutter can stay open on this cam here.

Thanks for this, Dave.

I've tried it a little, Dave. The few times I've tried it for outdoor night photography it's a little tricky. If you get too bright of a flashlight then the picture looks like you're shining the headlights of a car on it; not bright enough and the effect is minimal. I've found that using diffusing fabric over a handheld spotlight works pretty good in most situations where I've used it. Interesting photo.

Amazing and yes, you're very talented. I would never have thought of doing something like that.
