did u upgrade from a Sovereign ?

Help please if you upgraded from the excellent Sovereign ? was it worth it do you have any regrets ?? please be honest ! please reply urgent trying to decide regards Gerry

While I dont think I dig more rusty nails with the explorerthan I did with the Sov, the ones I do dig are when I am digging every iffy signal and most times pretty sure its a nail before digging.. its about the same as when I used the Sov.. I do dig more iron with the explorer than the sov in general, but again most times I am sure its iron before digging.. the fact that the explorer does hit on iron more than the Sov does is the thing that makes it better to use in iron as it will see the good stuff in that iron better.. I am sure if I wanted to be choosy enough I could ignore the iron iffy ones and still get most of the good stuff in that iron.. So yes you can stick with the Sov and not dig iron, but you will also be leaving lots of good stuff behind in that iron that the high iron mask setting knocks out completely.. or you could get an explorer and take the time to learn the differences in the tones those targets make and pick off some stuff that been left as iron by most others. Dont get me wrong the Sov does very well, but I want as much as I can from my sites
