while laying on the ground NOT to take a closeup of a beaver. Mary was in the truck laughin her butt off while I was trying for this shot from a couple feet away. The sucker lunged at me a nano-second after this shot was taken and I almost messed myself! They do make a nasty noise at such times but I have not recollection at all what the hell it was. It was blocked out by the noise I was making :D

How big do they get? Ever been bitten by one? You need to carry a small fishing rod with you, the type that comes apart. Kelley (Texas) :)
 
She had a boyfriend that wanted a beaver, so she got him one as a surprise, correct? Kelley (Texas) :)
