Did the remote pin point discriminate switch thing

All I can say is thanks to Mel Parker and Joe (OldBeechnut) for blazing the way on information for the remote pin point switch. Your videos, pictures and posts made it pretty simple. Actually the hardest part was tig welding the mount for the toggle switch on to the aluminum grab handle.

I'll post in the modification section some of the watch out for's when doing the remote switch modification.

Took it out this morning and WEEEEE DOGGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really nice. Way better than stock. Makes hunting a real pleasure with the Excalibur II. No more having to drop the digging tool to change modes. I can see where this mod will be really helpful in the water too.

Thanks again guys.

You will like it for sure, I can't imagine hunting with out it. Good job also.

Steve, you are Da man.....Great Job and thanks to Mel again for opening the door...wait till you get to the beach steve, then the fun starts.

Thanks Joe. I have a question for you. Have you used Doc's treasure amp on an Excalibur with a WOT coil? I was wondering if it would be too sensitive and maybe false too much?

I'm looking forward to Florida this year. With this modification, Doc's amp, my new scoop and the WOT, it should be a killer setup.

Yes, I used it last winter and this summer. Worked great in the wetsand of winter, could adjust senstivity way up... did not try the water. Summer wetsand was very touchy, had to adjust senstivity very low..then Bad in the water, almost like the infinium, falsing alot. The amp seems to pull up a very unstable area of the threshold with the WOT, 10 inch seems fine. joe/tim/obn
