Did My First Infinium Using The Large 10" x 14" And It's A Keeper :cheekkiss:

Did my first water hunt with the Infinium using the large mono coil which I ordered last fall. It's a little heavier then the 8" mono, but not by much. It seems to run a little smoother then the 8" mono, and appears to hunt deeper too. The lake I hunted was hunted to death last year, so I wasn't really expecting very much. I did get some surprises though.

Surprise #1 was an un-opened bottle of beer, way, way out in the water, just about up to my shoulders.

Surprise #2 was a large cent, still embedded in some bedrock of sorts. I thought that it might have been a loonies, but it doesn't stick to a magnet. A closer look showed a bunch of denticles where they would normally be on a large cent. I also managed at least one ring. The lower ring appears to be made of silver, judging from the type of oxidation that was on it.

Looks like the new coil is a keeper and will stay on my Infinium. :)

Way to go John!!!:thumbup::garrett:

I also just started testing my new 10x14 mono and have similar results too!
Yeah, I'd say It's a KEEPER!!!:cheers:

Congrats on the finds!!! How much difference in weight compared to the stock 14" x 10" DD coil? I'm asking cause it tires my arm out quickly and i'm thinking about going the 8" or 10" concentric route.

thanks,

Ken

Yeah, I don't like the big stock DD for the same reasons! These mono coils are much lighter but I don't know the exact weights for them ( I'll get back to you on that question though)!:thumbup:
