I found some intensely awesome looking spots but only managed to hunt one spot out on a penninsula in the sound(Long Island Sound), my wife was at home nursing a headache from the merriment the night before, so I only left her for an hour. I did manage a neat medallion from the Holy Name Society. I'll look it up later. The piece of 8 is to show the size of the medallion and for shock value my dad gave me 2 which were passed down from my Grandma. Have yet to find one myself tho. All said and done it was a great wedding. I met a lot of great people from Brazil, Italy, Spain, France and Canada. I don't have the money to travel to other countries right now so it is great to have an oppurtunity to learn about other cultures and also my own self by getting together with people from other parts of the world.Have a great one and keep diggin!

I was surprised too!I hit a park next to the beach. Didn't see any no detecting signs but kept my detector in my carrying bag until I found a spot away from too many watchers. It was off the beaten path and up a hill that had been blocked off from cars.Figured there are always a few more sour apples in the ritzy sections and I'd keep a low profile. The few people I met were decent and asked what i found. I smile a lot so that may have helped
