Took the explorer out today, used it and fished, no fish but, go several pennies a spoon and a 1999 dime. All this came from a place I have hunted, all I did was try a couple of different settings.
Think I will keep the Gold Bug 2 since I don't want to learn another machine.
I am jut getting used to the explorer....ho what fun.
 
Ve never run a Gold Bug or GB2 but I can say I've never read anything bad about them. They're a high freq machine aren't they?
 
yep they run at 71khz...good for tiny gold snd bird shot plus lead shavings
