Hi all

I am going to buy my first metal detector this week and i am leaning towards the F2. I was just on ebay and saw an auction about to end so for the fun of it i bid on a TEKNETICS BOUNTY HUNTER TRACKER 1-D/505 METAL DETECTOR and won it. I paid $39.99 plus $20.00 in shipping. Did I do ok? I would love input. They said it was in great condition Thanks for your help

It is a real basic detector and most of us call this one a toy as it is made for those that just want to play around to find surface target as depth is maybe 2 inches on these. At least that is what the one I had I bought at a discount store for $39.95.
The F-2 would have been a nice detector for the money and we know it does well and even better than some detectors that cost twice as much.

I know we are all strapped for money but you would have been better off putting that money
toward the F2. I'm sure you will find a few things with the detector you bought, but like the other post said, it's
really a toy.
