BEACH HUNTER

New member
OH YA MENT TO TELL YA JAMES I CHECKED OUT OUR LITTLE ROCK GARDEN THAT GAVE UP ALL THE RINGS AND YOUR GOLD CHARM LAST WINTER.ITS STILL COVERED WITH ALL THAT NEW SAND THEY BROUGHT IN!!YOU CAN CHECK IT BY GOING DOWN A SIDE STREET JUST PAST THE PARKING LOT..YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?? I'LL UP DATE YOU AFTER I HUNT MON. HH GOOD LUCK GUYS!!

first time there & spent most of my time in the dry sand. Was down around "I" street and oldest coin was a '65 penny. Very few good targets, plenty of deep tabs though. On beaches I normally frequent, when football sized rocks begin to appear, the sand has been moved. I don't know Hampton, but I didn't see any larger rocks poking thru, however there were areas of gravel thrown up. While driving saw somebody up near the Ashworth.

Hi guys,

Yes, I went to Hampton today. It was sanded in big time. I was all over the place trying out different spots. BarnacleBill, that may have been me that you saw by the Ashworth. I wondered all the way to the rocks near the 101 exit. Total finds was a quarter, three pennys, a play token, a Happy Hampton token (older style) and a jet fighter toy. We need some good sand ripping tides!

I SAW ONE AREA WITH SOME BIG ROCKS POPPING OUT SOUTH OF THE BRIDGE MAY TRY THERE OR PLUM ISLAND. SALISBURY GAVE UP A COUPLE DOLLARS OF GREEN CLAD SAT AM. NO SILVER OR GOLD THOUGH.

Until we have a good storm to pull some sand out I think I'm going to focus on some beaches to the South that I know.

Believe it or not Ron B. is itching to do some beach hunting this winter!
