Did anybody go out today?

I was able to get out for a few hours today. To embarrassed to post what I found though.

I stayed close to home and hunted a yard with visions of silver being unearthed but to no avail. I did save a 1896 IH, three wheats and a small handful of clad though. I was nice to get out and it warmed up more than I thought it would.

Congrats on the Indian Head Larry!!! That's one coin that I have never found.

Met up with Daryl and Jeff at Bradley for a while...was nice to be out ..but not much for finds...did have quite a long wrestling match with some tree roots..but eventually I pulled an old plated broach from them. Starting to pick up a little after work daylight...I like that!!See y'all at the meeting!

I made it to Bradley Park for a while today. Jeff and Mr. "Mclucky" were there too. The finds were few and far between. I did manage the usual clad, 3 wheat cents, 1 buffalo nickel, and a small horse charm or pendant that I think might be gold. I stayed a little longer after Jeff and Steve left and managed to find a 1946 Roosevelt dime, a 357 bullet, and an old fired musket ball. The musket ball is a little misshapen but seems to measure around .670 so I am thinking that it should be a 68 caliber. Daryl

Congrats on the silver and the artifacts Daryl!!! Why did I know that you would find silver.

What can I say???? You guys rock and I can't wait to see the horse charm. I stayed inside till I fired the Weber grill up for hot wings. An ice cold beer and good food.......doesn't get much better. I am soooo ready for Spring! HH, Nancy
