Did a talk tonight on detecting....

I was asked by a local library to do a treasure hunting/metal detecting talk. We had 16 in attendance. After an hour discussion on tools, how to's, do's and don'ts etc...... then we did Q & A and I showed them some finds in display cases. We then went outside so I could show them how to use the detector, and proper digging. I sure surprised them and me when target #4 was a sweet mercury dime. Good way to end the day.
