Did A Little Hunt In Parry Sound Ontario

Spanky

New member
Was in the Parry Sound area and picked up this item. Was using my 550 and was probing between rocks....the little sand pockets between boulders. I was hunting in all metal mode. The item appears to be aluminum...I think? Looks like a medal of some sort.

You just gave me a dandy idea, using my Sun Ray probe to probe those cracks for goodies. If you're in or on a gold bearing stream you can find gold in those cracks.

Uncle Willy ...its very ...very.... light in weght. I don't have anything to weigh it with so I have no idea of the exact weight. I think it is aluminum because I tried searching the internet and there are other similar commerative items made of alumnium but I've still not found this actual item. Its fun researching the item as well. I like your idea of the probe. Funny I never thought of doing that. There were several spots I could not get the coil in that the probe may have found a thing or two.
