I was heading out of town Monday to do some damage control at my Mother-in-laws place in Wisconsin after a micro burst flattened a bunch of trees when I noticed a house I wanted to detect near my house was no longer there. They tend to do that around here,no for sale sign or nothing just gone!So I went there yesterday and found half a silver locket the size of a silver dollar and marked 935 but couldn't find the other half .What I did find right next to it is this cool brooch that I believe is silver but has no markings of any type and a nice gemstone and is about 2" square. The only coins I found there were a couple of memorial pennies, can't seem to find any old coins even when I'm not in the water.

Here's a couple of the trees that got knocked down around the house up North.I only cut up and burned 5 smaller trees and 3 big trees on Tuesday before the rains came again Wed.It was raining on my way up there so I stopped at acouple of antique stores to see if I could snag something for resale and had checked out a couple of old beer tap handles from the 1930's but didn't buy any.An hour later I was at the old foundation down the street from the in-laws where I had found the old dog tag in the Spring. I couldn't believe it when I got a nice silver half signal and when I popped the plug and looking back up at me was one of the exact beer tap emblems that I had in my hand an hour earlier. It just doesn't get any weirder than that.
Good Hunting
