Did a little digging before the rain....

Went to a new spot with an old friend. My take was a 1802 Large cent, 1959 D Dime, some clads, lantern part, 2 buttons(one large pewter), and a large piece of lead.

That looks like a very promising spot. Is that a old foundation or just a stone wall? I bet there is allot more goodies there.............

I sure would like to hunt that spot. You did good. HH Dennis in Idaho

Nice finds. I bet you'll be going back there ASAP! Thanks for the good pics. HH to all, Nancy

It's an old foundation( might have been a mill), But this place has been hunted for years!!!!! not much left. I was using my 12 X 15 SEF coil. I plan on going back 1 more time with my 6X10 coil to pick in between trash.

Only one more time? Why only one more time? After detecting in one direction, go the opposite way and then go diagonal and then vise-versa. JMHO. We've got an old rental yard that we've worked over several times and each time we come home with a reward. I can't wait to work it again this year. HH and thanks again, Nancy

VERY SWEET!!!!! Those are some nice finds Joe!!!

Those Draped Bust large cents are and always have been my favorite coin. (I bet the isn't even one in the ground here in Washington State.) Very nice find Joe!!
