Did a hunt with Ron NH today at the field of dreams.

Well Ron is probably thinking that I was dreaming when I talk about that place:lol:Got there and the entire field was still snow covered from the last storm. The frost was still rock solid and made for a hard morning of hunting.
We headed for another field closer to town and the frost was out there. but the finds were scarce. I managed several buttons and thats about it for the day.
I'll let Ron tell you how he did the first time out with his new XT70.
I think he likes it.

You were right, that little Minelab is easy to use. It's light, the screen is easy to read and the menu is easy to scroll through and change. It didn't bother me that I wasn't pulling up coppers and reales. I was doing something I liked, getting some much needed exercise after a long winter, and learning the machine. I know the next time we get out, things will be different and I'm sure there will be more Fields of Dreams in the future. Thanks again and thanks to others in this Forum for having the patience for us new guys. Ron
