Diary of a Six-Day Bahamas Cruise
DAY ONE
I am all packed and ready to get on the cruise ship. He didn't want to go on some "boring" cruise so he cancelled his ticket and is staying home to golf all week. Still, I'm determined to finally have some fun and simply enjoy my time away. I've even packed all my pretty dresses and make-up. I'm really excited!
DAY TWO
We spent the entire day at sea. It was beautiful and we even saw some whales and dolphins. What a wonderful vacation this has started to be even with no one to share with but you, Diary. Oh, I almost forgot to mention...I met the Captain today and he seems like a very nice man.
DAY THREE
I spent some time in the pool today. I also did some shuffle boarding and hit some golf balls off the deck. Everyone is so very nice, both my fellow passengers and the crew. The Captain met me again on the promenade deck while I was jogging. He invited me to join him at his table for dinner. Such an invitation is supposed to be quite an honor and good luck at sea. We had a wonderful time. He is a very attractive and most attentive gentleman.
DAY FOUR
Went to the ship's casino, did OK. I won about $80! The Captain came through and invited me to have dinner with him in his state room. We had a luxurious meal of lobster and filet mignon complete with caviar and champagne. He asked me to stay the night with him! But, of course, I declined. After thanking him for the compliment, I told him there was no way I could ever be unfaithful to my husband.
DAY FIVE
Went back to the pool today and got a little sunburned. The ship's doctor gave me some ointment and stay out of the sun for a while. I decided to go to the piano bar and spend the rest of the day inside. The Captain saw me and bought me a couple of drinks. He really is a charming gentleman. He asked me again to visit him for the night and, of course, again I declined. He then told me that if I didn't let him have his way with me he would sink the ship! I was siimply appalled.
DAY SIX
I saved 1600 lives, today .... TWICE!!
