This morning after I got the boys off to school, I looked up some parks in Hot Springs. It's about 1/2 hour drive.

Ate brekfast and headed out.

The first three parks didn't look promising enough. I stopped at the fourth park and found a few coins and a pendant.

The fifth city park has a sand swim beach on a lake. I could tell that someone had already been there MDing. Wasn't expecting much.

I was pleasantly surprised though.:O I found four rings. One is a 10k white gold ring with 16 small diamonds.:) It had seventeen but one is missing.:( One of the diamonds is larger and centered. I found a gold chain in real bad shape. Found five ear rings. Found a few pendants. The one that is a clover leaf is 925 silver. I also found a cool green pocket knife.

About 3 or 4 hours of hunting and it was time to go get the kids.

Pretty good day's hunt,

Yer killing me more and more, again and again :starwars:
WTG

At least I got the Compadre out a little during a little weather break.

Nice finds Tabdog .Just now getting warm enough to hunt here .Hopefully some posts will be coming tomorrow.

I wish I could find some coins. That steel penny you found is really cool.
They are getting hard to find. Being steel keeps them from being found as
much. They can rust away also.

I only have 2 silver coins in 5 months.

Seems like you did real good with your Compadre.:)

Great Hunting!!!! See what yu can do with a simple machine.
All those expensie machines with the bells and whistles just arn't

Hay Pap.

I think who evet was there before me was using lots of discrimination. I could tell by what he was digging. When he got to the rocks he would quit. All the holes that still had a target, had a high conductive target, it was usually a soda can. You know how every one just seems leaves them there.

I've got the 7" coil on my Compadre. Don't need to change. The main difference to me is weight. They are both excellent coils. I believe the 5.75 is just a little better. I use both on my other MD's. Usually put the 7 on the Silver and the 5.75 on the Euro. That seems to work good for me.;)

HH,

Ha Robert,
Hot Springs is in Arkansas(That's Arkie Land). Al Capone liked to spend time there. Today is in the 70's. Had to shed my jacket.

Got out for a while today.

Here's a photo of Lake DeGray. It's not the one I was at yesterday but it's not far away. I hunted there with no luck. But I did see a Bald Eagle when I was there.
