went out this afternoon and had a good outing pearl ring fake pendant is fake diamond rind marked 14k and .20 assuming for total carat weight
13 diamonds very nice looking ring sounded like foil the other ring with the white stone is marked 18k extremely faint sound found out ring is broken that could be reason
notice color of ring very dark i talked to a jeweler i know and he told me some times gold will turn blackish but that is rare and he wants to see it thanks for looking

NICE FINDS:thumbup:as for the 18k ring being dark/tarnished i;ve found some gold will tarnish if its old,Its really the other metal mixed with the gold that tarnish's most of the time
the rings will be lower k (i.e. 9k 10k) most(yes most but not all) 18 k will come out just like the day it was lost also sometimes if its sitting next to iron it will take on some of it too as to discolor
it but will rub off 90% of the time
